After sustaining a concussion just minutes into his debut for Leeds United, former Crew winger Robbie Rogers made his way onto the scoresheet for The Whites in Tuesday's 3-0 exhibition victory against Carlisle United. In addition to scoring his first goal for LUFC, the 2008 MLS Best XI honoree was pleased to go the entire 90 minutes for his new club. Rogers has happy to be back on the field, tweeting:

The performance should help Rogers's chances of being included in manager Neil Warnock's squad on Saturday as the Yorkshire side returns to nPower Championship play, taking on West Ham.

March Madness hits Columbus Friday afternoon as the Second and Third Rounds of the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship tips off of Nationwide Arena. To get in the spirit, Crew players filled out brackets after Tuesday's training session.

To no surprise, five out of six players chose the overall number-one seed Kentucky Wildcats to take the crown in New Orleans next month.

Let's take a look at some of the brackets:

Rookie winger Ethan Finlay rode his Creighton Bluejays all the way to the Elite Eight.

Eric Gehrig claims he was rushed in filling out his bracket, predicting three of the four one seeds would reach the Final Four.

Looking for a couple of Second Round upsets, Josh Williams thinks New Mexico State will upset Indiana, VCU will beat Wichita State, and NC State will surprise San Diego State.

Cole Grossman held out belief his Duke Blue Devils would win their fourth National Championship, but reconsidered and chose Kentucky to win it all.

Columbus's favorite Wolverine, Justin Meram, talked the talk for Michigan. However, he doesn't have the Maize and Blue making it past the Sweet 16.

Home is where the heart is for Tom Heinemann, the Missouri native predicts the Mizzou Tigers will be dancing to "One Shining Moment" in New Orleans.

The Scoring System:

  • 3 points for each team correctly picked to advance to the Round of 32.
  • 5 points for each team picked in the Sweet 16.
  • 10 points for each team in the Elite 8.
  • 25 points for each team in the Final 4.
  • 50 points for each team in the National Championship.
  • 100 points for correctly picking the National Champion.
