The Crew held steady in Power Rankings after an off week from MLS play. The Black & Gold remain in the same position as they were after Week One in all rankings, but could see significant movement if they can earn three points against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

In its second scrimmage of the week, the Crew took on a team of NAIA All-Starts at the team's Obetz training facility on Friday. The Black & Gold tallied six times in the scrimmage, with two goals coming from Bernardo Anor. The Crew returns to MLS action next Saturday against the Philadelphia Union.

Dominic Oduro and rookie forward Adam Bedell each found the net in Wednesday's closed-door scrimmage between the Crew and the University of Notre Dame at Westerville Central High School. The match was moved from the Black & Gold's Obetz training ground due to inclement weather. The Crew will continue to put work in on its bye week as Gregg Berhalter's men are scheduled to take on the NAIA All-Stars on Friday.

The Crew saw movement across different media outlets' Week One Power Rankings following an impressive 3-0 victory on the road at D.C. United. The Black & Gold's biggest jump was in ESPNFC's rankings, where they moved from the 16th position up to number 11.
