Copa Victoria
The Columbus Crew is set to host its ninth annual Copa Victoria adult Hispanic-league soccer tournament. The single-elimination tournament will take place the beginning of the summer at the Crew Training Complex in Obetz, and ultimately conclude with the championship game – to be played under the lights at Crew Stadium – after the Crew vs. New England Revolution Match on August 13th.
The two-and-a-half-month tournament will officially consist of several teams from two different “ligas,” or leagues, will participate in this year’s tournament, including 2010 champion Brazil. And for the thrid consecutive year, the Crew will also present the Copa Victoria Feminine, which will feature four local women’s teams. The ladies’ championship match will also be played in August, prior to a Crew home match. Tournament matches will be played at the Crew Training Complex in Obetz (4153 Alum Creek Drive). All of those matches are free and open to the public.

El Columbus Crew se prepara para dar inicio a la novena edición de la Copa Victoria; el torneo anual de futbol adulto de las ligas hispanas. El evento de eliminación directa se realizará durante el comienzo del verano en Obetz, el complejo de entrenamiento del Crew, jugando la final bajo las luces del Crew Stadium después de un partido en casa del Columbus Crew vs. New England Revolution el Sabado 13 de Agosto.
El campeonato, de dos meses y medio constará de integrantes de dos ligas hispanas, incluyendo al campeón del 2010: Brazil. Además, por tercer año consecutivo, el Crew presentara la Copa Victoria Femenina, la cual constara de cuatro equipos locales. La final de la copa femenina también se jugara en agosto, como antesala a un partido en casa del Crew. El resto de partidos del campeonato se jugaran en el complejo de entrenamiento del Crew en Obetz (4153 Alum Creek Drive). Todos los partidos en Obetz seran de entrada libre para el publico.
