PHOTOS: Recapping Berhalter's first week

Press conferences, college scouting and hockey highlight Berhalter's first seven days

It's been just over a week since the Crew's new Sporting Director and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter arrived in Columbus. Berhalter's first seven days in the Arch City were busy with media requests, photo shoots, scouting and even some entertainment at a Columbus Blue Jackets game.

Here are the highlights of Berhalter's first week in Columbus.

MONDAY - 11/11

Berhalter's first day in Ohio was highlighted by digital signage in downtown Columbus at the corner of Broad and High Streets welcoming the new Crew boss (above) and his first photo shoot with the Black & Gold. Later in the day, Berhalter sat down for his first interview at the helm of the Crew.

TUESDAY - 11/12

After privately meeting with some of his new players for the first time, Berhalter met the Columbus media for the first time alongside club Owner-Operator and Chairman Anthony Precourt and President Mark McCullers in his introductory press conference. 

Following the press conference and slew of interviews, Berhalter then took the time to answer fan questions via Twitter before heading off to a photo shoot with Anthony Precourt

WEDNESDAY - 11/13

Berhalter began Wednesday by making the rounds on local radio talk shows, joining the Torg and Elliot on QFM before making an appearance on the Fn'A Show on 95.5 The Game.

Following his morning media rounds, the new Sporting Director and Head Coach headed to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium for the Big Ten Men's Soccer tournament to take in Ohio State vs. Michigan State and Indiana vs. Michigan.

THURSDAY - 11/14

Berhalter was up bright and early on Thursday morning to visit FOX 28's Good Day Columbus to answer questions about superheroes, among other things.

FRIDAY - 11/15

After returning to Ohio State for the semifinals of the Big Ten Tourney, Berhalter attended the Columbus Blue Jackets' match against the Montreal Canadiens, where he received a rousing ovation.

SUNDAY - 11/17

To finish out his first week in Columbus, Berhalter caught the Championship Match of the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday morning between Indiana and Michigan State.
