Tuesday's rundown of Crew headlines

Costa Rica has a strong representation on the Crew’s roster with veteran, Jairo Arrieta, who re-signed with the team this offseason, and newcomer Waylon Francis, who signed with the Crew after playing in Costa Rica this past season. Adam Jardy of the Columbus Dispatch talked to Arrieta about returning to Columbus and with Francis about his 2014 World Cup potential. 

LA Galaxy’s Landon Donovan believes MLS is gaining momentum with the big-name signings such as Toronto FC’s Michael Bradley. The Crew -- and most of the clubs in MLS -- starts preseason tournament competition this week all over the country. Follow the Crew as the club competes in the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando from February 19 to March 1. The Black and Gold begin preseason play tomorrow against rival Toronto FC.
