Thursday's headlines around MLS

The Crew forced a 4-4 draw against Orlando City SC last night in the final match of Group A play at the Disney Pro Soccer Classic. Following Orlando City SC’s goal in the 89th minute, midfielder Ethan Finlay scored the Crew’s game-tying goal in stoppage time, his second tally of the match. Following Major League Soccer’s purchase of Chivas USA, MLS Commissioner Don Garber named longtime MLS executive Nelson Rodriguez as the club’s new President on Wednesday. His most recent position was Executive Vice President of Competition, Technical and Game Operations for MLS, which he resigned from in January.
