COLUMBUS, Ohio – Crew leading scorer Guillermo Barros Schelotto
practiced without apparent discomfort Thursday, a day after slightly twisting
his left ankle, and is expected to be ready for Saturday’s game at Los Angeles.
On
Wednesday, Columbus ended practice early after the Argentine needed to
receive treatment on the ankle from Crew training staff.
He took several free kicks at the end of Thursday's full training
session and said there were no problems.
Also, midfielder/defender Danny O'Rourke continues to have
back problems and will not make the trip, but forward Emilio Renteria rejoined
the team in Columbus on Thursday for the flight out west after spending a week with
the Venezuelan National Team.
