PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    <strong>2013:</strong> Did not make a regular-season appearance in his rookie season with the Black &amp; Gold. Missed seven matches (from June 1 against Houston through July 7 against Portland) with a left adductor strain. Made nine appearances, including eight starts, on the backline in MLS Reserve League action and scored one goal, which came on a header in a start at centerback at Houston (August 4).<br />

    <strong>COLLEGE EXPERIENCE</strong><br />
    <br />
    <strong>2012: </strong>Beckie was an All-MPSF Second Team selection as a senior, as he started and played in 18 of the Pioneers 20 matches at right back. In the attack, Beckie tallied seven points on two goals and three assists.<br />
    <br />
    <strong>2011: </strong>As a junior, Beckie was selected to All-MPSF First Team, starting all 19 matches for Denver. He tallied nine points on four goals and an assist, recording his first career two-goal game at Cal State Fullerton on September 23. Beckie was named DU&#39;s Most Valuable Player and represented Team Canada in Olympic qualifying games in March 2012.<br />
    <br />
    <strong>2010:</strong> Beckie started all 20 games for the Pioneers, scoring the game-winning goal against Oral Roberts on Sept. 17. Beckie earned All-MPSF honorable mention as a sophomore.<br />
    <br />
    <strong>2009:</strong> As a freshman, Beckie started in 11 of 19 games this season, recording one assist against Belmont (Sep 13). He was also named to Duke Nike Classic All-Tournament Team.<br />

    <strong>YOUTH EXPERIENCE</strong><br />
    <br />
    Beckie spent his entire youth career playing for Real Colorado coached by Lorne Donaldson, Kevin Fickes and Neil Payne.<br />

    <strong>INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE</strong><br />
    <br />
    For the U-17 Canadian National Team, Beckie earned six caps. He represented Canada in the 2007 CONCACAF Qualifying in Kingston, Jamaica.<br />

    Chosen 28th overall by the Crew in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.<br />

    <strong>PERSONAL</strong><br />
    <br />
    Beckie was born on September 30, 1990 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Sheila and the late Gary Beckie. He has three sisters Alysha, Jenelle and Janine. Beckie enjoys biking, reading, and watching the UEFA Champions League. Always giving of his time, Beckie volunteered with the Special Olympics Soccer&nbsp;and the local Soup Kitchen and participated in the Brown Robe Gala - Feed and Fundraiser&nbsp;for the less fortunate.<br>
