COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

2014 (Georgetown): Gomez made a career-best 23 starts in his senior season, notching double-digit shutouts for the second consecutive season with 10. He was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Great Lakes Region Second Team.

2013 (Georgetown): The goalkeeper set a new career-best and school record in shutouts after recording 12 over 21 starts in his junior campaign. He was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Northeast Region Second Team, and he shared Big East Co-Goalkeeper of the Year honors.

2012 (Georgetown): Gomez made 20 starts in his sophomore season, matching his total of seven clean sheets from his freshman campaign. He was named to the College Cup All-Tournament Team as well as the All-Big East Second Team. He helped Georgetown advance to the College Cup National Championship.

2011 (Georgetown): Gomez started 17 matches in his freshman season, conceding 16 goals and recording seven clean sheets. He was named to the Big East All-Rookie Team and was invited to the Under-20 Men's National Team camp of that year.

When not playing, Gomez likes to work out at the gym and hang out with friends. His favorite type of music is rap, as he is a big fan of Kendrick Lamar. His favorite movies are American Sniper and Unbroken. Growing up, his favorite player was Iker Casillas. His favorite memory is saving the decisive penalty to push the Hoyas into the 2012 College Cup National Championship. If he weren't a soccer player, he would like to pursue a law degree or work in the marketing of soccer.
